Admission into The Light College is open to all children. Fundamental admission criterion is academic merit. The College however, provides intensive classes to cater for students whose performance in the entrance examination falls slightly below the cut-off marks.
Our science laboratories are carefully planned and installed. The laboratories are equipped with modern instruments and adequate materials to enable students learn, investigate and do their practical work in a pleasant environment.
In our recognition of the importance of technology as an integral part of our training, we have a resource centre in the College comprising of computer, technical and language laboratories.
The School curriculum is of cause in line with the National Policy on Education in Nigeria, however the actual environment of the school is firmly Islamic both inside and outside the classroom. The school activities are carefully designed and kept in harmony with our desire of producing Islamic personality in thought and behaviour.
